Nicki Minaj intervenes as brawl breaks out at gig

Recording artist Nicki Minaj performs onstage during The iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party at Caesars Palace on May 30, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Nicki Minaj had to intervene at her concert in California after a violent brawl broke out in the audience, with one girl pepper sprayed in the face.
The Anaconda hitmaker was performing at the Concord Hill venue in the Bay Area on Friday when mass violence broke out, with fans punching each other and chairs being thrown, TMZ.com reports.
Minaj is shown on a video shouting for the music to stop, and she tells the girl who had been pepper sprayed to get onto the stage to be treated. Minaj says, "Bring her to the stage. The one that just got sprayed with mace in the face. Come here."
She later addressed the brawl on Instagram.com, writing, "Sold out show in the Bay Area last night. They were more than turnT (sic)... Let's just say that. Lol. Can't wait to see u guys again."
Editors at TMZ.com report that despite the incident only one arrest was a made - a 22-year-old man was cited for assaulting a security guard.
